Daniel co-founded Edexia with Nathan Wang because he thinks AI can do two things to schools at once: "destroy pretty much everything and also potentially help fix some of the long-standing issues." What he keeps coming back to is why it matters: "the point of education isn't the product, it's the process and the learning."
So the question he builds around is simple: "how do you use this to strengthen the teacher-student relationship rather than distance it?"
He is dyslexic. He got entry into medicine at the University of Queensland, then changed direction. In 2024 he gave a TEDx talk on AI and teachers' time.
