Atomi, Education Perfect, Teacher's Buddy and Edexia, compared
Four platforms Australian schools use, side by side, and where Edexia goes further.
They do different jobs. Atomi and Education Perfect are where students learn and practise content: lessons, videos, quizzes and quick AI feedback. Teacher's Buddy helps teachers make resources. Edexia is where students do their classwork, tasks and exams.
All four cover Years 7 to 12. The questions that separate them: can students use AI without it doing the work? Can you tell how a piece was written? Can it read handwriting, and mark against your board's criteria? Does the teacher see the feedback before the student does?

Where Edexia goes further
What those rows look like in the product.
An optional AI tutor that won't do the work
Students can ask it what a question is asking, how to plan an answer or how to make a paragraph better. It explains and asks questions back, but it can't write into their work or give the answer, and you can read every chat.
More on classwork and feedbackSee how every typed piece was written
Writing replay plays a response back keystroke by keystroke, and every response carries an AI-likelihood signal. Neither one decides anything. Together they give a teacher something real to talk to a student about.

How does Fitzgerald use the green light?
In the final chapters, Fitzgerald lets the green light fade from a promise into a reminder. Gatsby still reaches for it, but Nick no longer believes the reach can close the distance. The symbol therefore functions as a critique of the American Dream, exposing how aspiration becomes illusion when detached from moral substance. By ending on boats beating against the current, Fitzgerald suggests the past always wins.
Handwritten work, marked against your criteria
Most of what students write in class and exams is still on paper. Scan it on a phone or laptop, or drop in a PDF of a whole set of exam scripts. Edexia transcribes it beside the original page and drafts feedback against VCAA, NESA, QCAA, SCSA or IB criteria.
More on exams and assessmentThe teacher decides every mark, and when students see it
Edexia drafts marks and comments. Nothing reaches a student until the teacher has read it, changed what they disagree with and chosen to release it.
More on classwork and feedbackOne standard across the department
Mark blind, then compare with colleagues and Edexia side by side and settle the final mark together. Heads of department see how every teacher marks, from their own assessments.

If what you need is content for students to learn from, they are good at it, and many schools will keep one. If you are worried about students using AI to do their work, or want feedback on handwritten and typed work against your board's criteria that you check before students see it, that is what Edexia is for.
Common questions
What is the difference between Atomi and Education Perfect?
Both are where students learn and practise content. Atomi is built around short video lessons, quizzes and exam practice. Education Perfect is a wide lesson, practice and assessment library across subjects and year levels, with monitored assessments. Both give students AI feedback as soon as they submit.
How is Edexia different from Atomi and Education Perfect?
Edexia is where students do their classwork, tasks and exams. Teachers set work from a question bank or their own questions, students can use an optional tutor that can't write the work, writing replay shows how typed work came together, and feedback against VCAA, NESA, QCAA, SCSA or IB criteria reaches students only after the teacher has checked it.
Can a school use Edexia alongside Atomi or Education Perfect?
Yes. A school can keep a content and practice platform and run its classwork, assessment tasks and exams in Edexia.
Is Edexia free to try?
Yes. Teachers can use Edexia free with a school email. School and department plans are on request, and our team can talk through whether it fits your school, obligation free.
